DISCLAIMER

This blog is where I record a limited depiction of my feelings, family, and faith. My blog was recently under intense scrutiny, and so I feel this disclaimer is necessary. I try to tell my story as openly as I can, but this blog represents a cropped and narrow-viewed version of my story -- like all social media -- it is NOT the full story. Many events happen behind the scenes that are not recorded or written about, due to the sensitive nature of others involved. Life has many layers. Many layers can be shared and many cannot, and this blog is simply a layer of my life that I allow others to view, but it is not an accurate depiction of all the layers of my life.

Family Pictures in Idaho City

We drove out to Idaho City today. We went to church at the chapel there, and spent some time at the cemetery, where Charles is buried. I will write more about those things later, but for now, it is picture time!

I dusted-off my "real" camera, and we took some time to "say cheese" together as a family. I love pictures. I love taking them, especially of my own family. It was so beautiful up there in the mountains. It was cold, and raining, but that did not stop us from smiling, and having fun! It felt good to use my old friend, Mr. Nikon.

The pictures here were taken by me, my mom, and Sammi. My camera is getting rusty, it does not work like it used to, but it was still functional, most of the time. (It has never been the same since taking it on the Pioneer Trek.)

The pictures were taken in the parking lot of the Idaho City Pioneer Cemetery. I do not love that Charles is buried, but I am grateful that he is buried in such a breathtakingly beautiful, and perfectly rustic place. It is always such a pleasant place to visit. It was especially nice today to be there full of silliness and smiles.

I know Charles loves it when we are all happy.

We were happy today.... and the joy was caught on camera. :)

I love my family SO MUCH!
