DISCLAIMER

This blog is where I record a limited depiction of my feelings, family, and faith. My blog was recently under intense scrutiny, and so I feel this disclaimer is necessary. I try to tell my story as openly as I can, but this blog represents a cropped and narrow-viewed version of my story -- like all social media -- it is NOT the full story. Many events happen behind the scenes that are not recorded or written about, due to the sensitive nature of others involved. Life has many layers. Many layers can be shared and many cannot, and this blog is simply a layer of my life that I allow others to view, but it is not an accurate depiction of all the layers of my life.

Shots

I hate taking my babies in for their immunizations. Henry was lying on the doctor's table, laughing, cooing and smiling at me. And then the two cruel nurses came in -- with their nasty needles -- and stuck my sweet baby in the legs. He made the saddest face, I wanted to cry. Now, he is not his happy, charming, self. He is, well, just look at the picture . . . SAD!!!

Poor baby! I'm sorry!

  1. Shots are no fun. Blake gets his in a couple weeks and I'm not looking forward to it. The last time he got them the doctor came back in he was screaming so loud. Then Michael get his a few weeks later. Hope Henry feels better soon. Love you guys

  2. Jordan had his yesterday too. He went with the huge silent cry. You know when they are so sad they turn purple for a bit and the finally a sound comes out? Yeah he did that for about ten seconds and then a little squeal came out and nothing else. Funny. It is also funny about the two babies sizes. HA! The doctor told me that he could use more calories. :) I am trying, but he just spits up. Love you guys.
