DISCLAIMER

This blog is where I record a limited depiction of my feelings, family, and faith. My blog was recently under intense scrutiny, and so I feel this disclaimer is necessary. I try to tell my story as openly as I can, but this blog represents a cropped and narrow-viewed version of my story -- like all social media -- it is NOT the full story. Many events happen behind the scenes that are not recorded or written about, due to the sensitive nature of others involved. Life has many layers. Many layers can be shared and many cannot, and this blog is simply a layer of my life that I allow others to view, but it is not an accurate depiction of all the layers of my life.

The Faces of Sammi

I love Sammi's many faces. Last night seemed as good a time as any to take some pictures of this cutie-head of mine. Of all my children, she is for sure the most accommodating when I want to practice some photography. For some reason, my boys are not as interested in standing still?

Go figure.

I decided to dust off my "real" camera, and use it for the first time, in a long time. My camera has never been the same since I was the photographer for Trek, carting it around in all the dust. It does not respond as quickly as it once did, so I don't feel as eager to use it often. Maybe I need to ask Santa for a new camera for Christmas.

I sure do love taking and editing pictures! It is so fun! It is one of my favorite outlets for creativity.

This post is simply some headshots of Sammi. I can't believe she is 18, and preparing for a mission! I am not really sure how any of us will survive without her sparkling personality in our home. She is such a force of goodness, joy, and light!

She is Sammi Sunshine, and she always will be!

I LOVE your face my beautiful Sammi!
