DISCLAIMER

This blog is where I record a limited depiction of my feelings, family, and faith. My blog was recently under intense scrutiny, and so I feel this disclaimer is necessary. I try to tell my story as openly as I can, but this blog represents a cropped and narrow-viewed version of my story -- like all social media -- it is NOT the full story. Many events happen behind the scenes that are not recorded or written about, due to the sensitive nature of others involved. Life has many layers. Many layers can be shared and many cannot, and this blog is simply a layer of my life that I allow others to view, but it is not an accurate depiction of all the layers of my life.

Sammi's First Kiss

I bought Sammi her first kiss. I spent $2.00. She got licorice and a kiss from a really cute boy -- what could be better? Nothing. I told her I will buy her a second kiss in about 35 years.

We went up to Starlight Mountain Theater with our friends, the Seppas. We saw Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. It was really great! It was closing night for the show, so the extra energy was awesome. It was a beautiful warm night. I love the drive up to Garden Valley, Idaho. It is so pretty, and it smells amazing with the Ponderosa Pines.

There is a beautiful river along the road.

Waving goodbye to the actors who sing and dance and sell popcorn at
intermission. Their energy is inspiring.

All tuckered out and ready to go home.

It was a fantastic night!

Nothing better than good friends, good weather, and good entertainment! And good kisses from a cute boy, too! (You should have seen Sammi's face AFTER the kiss. It was PRICELESS!) I am just sad I missed the chance for a picture of it!

  1. Looks like a fun night! Was the cast better than last year? I remember you saying the kind of stunk.

    1. Yep, the cast was WAY better. The crew of boys they have this year is really good -- some from the original crew I saw years ago. The last time I saw The Wizard of OZ, and Dorothy stank. And if the lead stinks, the show stinks!
