This blog is where I record a limited depiction of my feelings, family, and faith. My blog was recently under intense scrutiny, and so I feel this disclaimer is necessary. I try to tell my story as openly as I can, but this blog represents a cropped and narrow-viewed version of my story -- like all social media -- it is NOT the full story. Many events happen behind the scenes that are not recorded or written about, due to the sensitive nature of others involved. Life has many layers. Many layers can be shared and many cannot, and this blog is simply a layer of my life that I allow others to view, but it is not an accurate depiction of all the layers of my life.

Tis the Season

Christmas is in full-swing here! I actually waited until just last week to pull out our Christmas decorations. I don't know why, I just felt like waiting this year? But now, almost everything is up, and it is beautiful. Our house is meant for Christmas. 

We went and picked out our live Christmas Tree on Friday night, but we still need to decorate it -- that is the plan for Family Home Evening tonight. I plan to enjoy every moment of this holiday season, especially since time seems to be slipping into the future in a fast-forward like pace! 

I want to slow everything down for a bit, and soak it all in. This is the only Christmas 2013 that we get!  May it be a glorious holiday seasons full of light, hope, and love! 









Take time to slow down, and remember the true reason for the season -- the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior.
