Flakes of Joy

Last night there were beautiful flakes of snow falling from the sky. It was really warm outside, and the flakes were huge! It has warmed-up a bit here lately, and all the snow we had has melted, and that is OK with me! I would be thrilled with a warm winter, and an early Spring. I am excited for flowers petals, and the glorious fragrance of life and blossoms. For now, we just have to enjoy whatever nature brings to us. When the big flakes fell, the kids had to run out and play . . .

    Grandma loves the pictures. I am starting to get very excited about seeing everyone. We have had cold and snow again so we have beautiful snow crystals forming on everything. It is cold enough that individual snowflakes are preserved and if you look at them with a magnifying glass they are amazing. I wish I had your camera to record their awesome beauty. At night in the moonlight they sparkle like diamonds...magical
