DISCLAIMER

This blog is where I record a limited depiction of my feelings, family, and faith. My blog was recently under intense scrutiny, and so I feel this disclaimer is necessary. I try to tell my story as openly as I can, but this blog represents a cropped and narrow-viewed version of my story -- like all social media -- it is NOT the full story. Many events happen behind the scenes that are not recorded or written about, due to the sensitive nature of others involved. Life has many layers. Many layers can be shared and many cannot, and this blog is simply a layer of my life that I allow others to view, but it is not an accurate depiction of all the layers of my life.

The Warmth of Family and Friends

April 1st was a day full of people. I barely had time to think in between knocks on the door; which was probably a good thing. Beginning first thing in the morning, the love started to flow. I received flowers, treats, cards, food, texts, and hugs, all throughout the day. It was wonderful. I felt overwhelmed with gratitude.

Do not underestimate the power of kindness. It can change the world, truly. It has changed mine.

Some people wonder how I can remain in Idaho, without any family around. Well, this is how. I do have family around! I am watched over in a beautiful and special way, and I will forever be grateful. People are so thoughtful, and so good.

I love people. :)

One of the cutest moments in the day, was watching as a lady from my ward dropped off a basket. I could see her coming from a reflection in a picture, and she had the biggest smile on her face as she came to the door, dropped off the basket, and ran away. It was so precious!

My heart is full. May Heaven bless you for your kindness!

Just check out the love that was sent my way... I stand amazed.

  5. I'm so thankful April 1st was a day of kindness and love. Like Mom said, it is because of your fabulous friends there is Idaho and others who give kind acts of service, that your sister can feel more peace about being so far away. There are so many times that I wish I could just show up at your door and take a walk with you by the river or take the kids to the candy store or just talk all night w/ you. Thank goodness for phone calls and FaceTime. That does help.

Thank you to all of Mari's friends who followed promptings to show up or send a package or flowers or cards, etc to brighten her day on Wednesday.
I loved the sunshine package Crystal. So sweet! I loved your creativity w/ it. You are a true friend. It really made Mari's day!

Mari, Your Hallelujah song was beautiful too! Keep singing!

    hugs,

    Kary
