DISCLAIMER

This blog is where I record a limited depiction of my feelings, family, and faith. My blog was recently under intense scrutiny, and so I feel this disclaimer is necessary. I try to tell my story as openly as I can, but this blog represents a cropped and narrow-viewed version of my story -- like all social media -- it is NOT the full story. Many events happen behind the scenes that are not recorded or written about, due to the sensitive nature of others involved. Life has many layers. Many layers can be shared and many cannot, and this blog is simply a layer of my life that I allow others to view, but it is not an accurate depiction of all the layers of my life.

My Mother

It is Mother's Day. As I think of what I could possibly write about my mother to do her justice, I find myself with inadequate words. When I think of my mother, I just want to give her a hug. If I were to hug her as long as every act of service she has ever rendered for me, I would hug her forever, for that is her hallmark and her legacy; she lives a life of selfless service.

Crowns of glory await her, of this I am certain.

I liked the idea my kids had of making a list. It is easier to read, and gets right to the point. I decided I will do the same... I will limit the number of items on the list, only due to limited time in the day.

  6. Ditto to the list you posted. Mom is amazing! One thing I might add....she is a fun Yoga partner.
When she and I have done a yoga video together, we laugh so hard every time we see Rodney Yee in his little spandex shorts lying on the beach.
Definitely relaxing to have a good laugh w/ Mom.

Keep smiling Mom. You are beautiful!
