DISCLAIMER

This blog is where I record a limited depiction of my feelings, family, and faith. My blog was recently under intense scrutiny, and so I feel this disclaimer is necessary. I try to tell my story as openly as I can, but this blog represents a cropped and narrow-viewed version of my story -- like all social media -- it is NOT the full story. Many events happen behind the scenes that are not recorded or written about, due to the sensitive nature of others involved. Life has many layers. Many layers can be shared and many cannot, and this blog is simply a layer of my life that I allow others to view, but it is not an accurate depiction of all the layers of my life.

Raining Rainbows

Yesterday I prayed to see something amazing. I know you are not supposed to ask to see a sign from God or anything, but that was not what I was asking for. Most of the time God has His signs and evidences all around us, but we just don't see them, because we are not looking. I just prayed that I would be able to see... that my eyes would be open and aware of the amazing things around me.

I was leaving the store after picking up Henry's medicine, and I was ready to head to the temple. As I looked up in the sky, I saw a cloud that was raining rainbows. It was a mostly clear sky except for this puffy cloud that was catching the sun just right. It is hard to see, but the rain and sun were causing rainbows to fall from the clouds. It was amazing. I had never seen anything like it.

Rainbows are special for me and Charles. Very special. There was no way this was not a smile from Heaven, and an answer to my prayer. Sure it was just some sunlight and water -- but not to me. The timing was too perfect, and the event was too marvelous. I tried to capture it with my phone camera, but I missed the best part.

I am so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who hears and answers my prayers, and opens my eyes to see His glory and gifts.

Believing is seeing.
I also had a beautiful time at the temple. I go at least once a week to receive the power I need to do what needs doing in my life. It is my source of strength. I am infused with power from on High. What a blessing.

The temple is my light when all other lights go out.
I believe in miracles. They have not ceased. Not for me!

  1. I saw that same rainbow while I was taking pictures on Saturday. I was able to get a quick snap of it. It was beautiful!
