DISCLAIMER

This blog is where I record a limited depiction of my feelings, family, and faith. My blog was recently under intense scrutiny, and so I feel this disclaimer is necessary. I try to tell my story as openly as I can, but this blog represents a cropped and narrow-viewed version of my story -- like all social media -- it is NOT the full story. Many events happen behind the scenes that are not recorded or written about, due to the sensitive nature of others involved. Life has many layers. Many layers can be shared and many cannot, and this blog is simply a layer of my life that I allow others to view, but it is not an accurate depiction of all the layers of my life.

The Redwoods

We visited the Redwoods. I absolutely love hanging out in the magical forests of out-of-this-world trees. There is something very inspiring about traveling through the ancient woods. Our visit was fairly brief -- but if I could, I would just hang out in the forest all day and enjoy the peace and solitude. I think it would be a great place to pray and find inspiration.

If you ever have a chance to visit a redwood forest, you should go. Some might just say, "Eh, big trees, who cares?" But for me, it is truly a magical experience for my eyes of wonder. The smell of the forest is intoxicating and refreshing. It was a bit chilly when we went, but it warmed up and the heated dirt and trees filled the air with an enchanting aroma.

I am going to let the pictures do the talking today... the pictures only capture a minuscule piece of the glory. You just have to go for yourself and see the beauty with your own eyes.
