DISCLAIMER

This blog is where I record a limited depiction of my feelings, family, and faith. My blog was recently under intense scrutiny, and so I feel this disclaimer is necessary. I try to tell my story as openly as I can, but this blog represents a cropped and narrow-viewed version of my story -- like all social media -- it is NOT the full story. Many events happen behind the scenes that are not recorded or written about, due to the sensitive nature of others involved. Life has many layers. Many layers can be shared and many cannot, and this blog is simply a layer of my life that I allow others to view, but it is not an accurate depiction of all the layers of my life.

Photography Practice

I love to take pictures. Charles knew of my love of photography, and one day he spontaneously brought me home a fancy new camera -- what a gift! Since that day, I have been practicing my hand at photography, and learning as much as I can. I think the fact that I have really big eyes helps me to see the beauty and wonder of the things around me -- especially the beauty in the faces of children. My mom likes to call our big magic-filled eyes, "Eyes of Wonder." I have always had the ability to see, and appreciate, the beauty in everything around me.

I had a photo-shoot with a good friend of mine, she allowed me some time with her adorable girls… it was so fun! I have decided little girls are the perfect photography subjects. I sure wish I would have had a good camera when Sammi was little -- I would have followed her around snapping photos all day! Don't get me wrong, boys are cute too! I have 3 of my own, and I love taking their pictures. But girls -- especially little girls -- well, they are so sparkly and precious! These pictures are proof of that. Such beautiful girls!
