ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right! Happiness is a choice (even when life is hard.) That is not to say moments of sadness and sorrow are not allowed. Yes, they must exist. those feelings must be felt. There are days of darkness and sometimes even despair, but as you said, through our Savior, Jesus Christ, we can be happy. We must seek Him, come to feel of HIs love, come to know that He has felt ALL of our pain. He had bled from every pore to heal our hearts and offer us joy in life. I love our Savior. I know He lives. I know He is standing by your side each day Mari. You are not alone. I can feel that from you as you testify of Him. Thank you for sharing your testimony with the world. We all need to be reminded about the plan of happiness. Heavenly Father's plan is perfect. It is beautiful, it is hopeful, it is full of joy, it is eternal. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and hope that many of your blog readers/followers (who may be searching for truth and happiness), will go to mormon.org or lds.org to find answers to their questions regarding the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.
