DISCLAIMER

This blog is where I record a limited depiction of my feelings, family, and faith. My blog was recently under intense scrutiny, and so I feel this disclaimer is necessary. I try to tell my story as openly as I can, but this blog represents a cropped and narrow-viewed version of my story -- like all social media -- it is NOT the full story. Many events happen behind the scenes that are not recorded or written about, due to the sensitive nature of others involved. Life has many layers. Many layers can be shared and many cannot, and this blog is simply a layer of my life that I allow others to view, but it is not an accurate depiction of all the layers of my life.

Sunshine

The weather has been amazing. It has been so warm for February. We have had many days of near 60, and today it was sunshine and beautiful. The kids ran outside with blankets to soak in the sun, and read. It was so stinking cute! I went for a run today and it was wonderful to feel the light on my face, and have it enter my soul. I feel so free when I am out there in nature and letting go of all my stress and worry. The sunshine was an added bonus today to lift my spirits and help me feel the light of God's love for me.
The kids enjoy spending time outside in the backyard. Sammi loves to draw and so she took some time to sketch in the sun.

Daniel loves to be active and play. I am super excited to get our trampoline up so they can all start jumping for joy! Soon, very soon.
Henry enjoying a fudge-sickle. Yum!

William playing ball with Dan.
Sammi has the most beautiful hair... it is getting Rapunzel long! I love it!
Reading in the sunshine...
William said the light was perfect for reading.
I love this boy.

Henry was so happy to be outside. It is the best place for all of his energy.
The flowers are starting to bloom, and the grass is starting to grow. Spring is on it's way.

Hooray for the sun!
