This blog is where I record a limited depiction of my feelings, family, and faith. My blog was recently under intense scrutiny, and so I feel this disclaimer is necessary. I try to tell my story as openly as I can, but this blog represents a cropped and narrow-viewed version of my story -- like all social media -- it is NOT the full story. Many events happen behind the scenes that are not recorded or written about, due to the sensitive nature of others involved. Life has many layers. It is time to change my blog! I have decided that www.vanormerview2.blogspot.com is too much of a mouthful.

I have been pondering the purpose of my blog and the message I have to share. The word that has been repeated in my mind over and over has been COURAGE. Now is the time for courage! With the death of Charles, our family has been clinging to our courage, and clinging to Christ. I have discovered that happiness is possible in any circumstance -- with Jesus by your side -- and having His gospel as a foundation to stand on. It takes courage to follow Him. It takes courage to believe. It takes courage to be happy!

I have that courage. And you can too!
